Welcome to JobFolio. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of JobFolio (available at jobfolio.base44.app), the AI-powered job search platform operated by MYQ Media ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use JobFolio.
JobFolio helps you manage your job search. You can import job postings by URL, track applications, upload and tailor resumes, prepare for interviews, practice with a mock interviewer, organize career stories, and review analytics about your search. Some features rely on artificial intelligence to analyze your data and generate suggestions or content.
You agree not to:
JobFolio uses AI to generate resumes, bullet points, interview answers, stories, and other content. This content is a starting point, not professional advice. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying anything you send to an employer. We do not guarantee that AI-generated content is accurate, complete, or effective. You assume all risk arising from your use of AI-generated content.
When you import a job by URL, JobFolio retrieves publicly available content from that job posting to save you time. We do not control third-party job postings or their accuracy, availability, or compliance. Salary ranges, requirements, and other scraped details may be incomplete or outdated; always confirm details with the employer. Job posting monitoring checks whether a URL still resolves to a posting, but it cannot guarantee a role is still open or that you will be considered.
You retain ownership of all content you upload or create in JobFolio, including your resumes, applications, notes, and career stories. To operate the Service and generate AI results for you, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your content as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not claim ownership of your content, and we will not share it with other users.
Our handling of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using JobFolio, you consent to that data practices described there.
JobFolio is currently free to use. We may introduce paid plans or features in the future. If we do, we will clearly disclose any fees before you are charged, and this section will be updated to describe billing, refunds, and cancellation terms.
JobFolio, including its design, software, branding, and original content, is owned by MYQ Media and protected by applicable laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, software, or other proprietary content except the limited right to use the Service.
JobFolio is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that it will help you obtain a job.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, JobFolio and MYQ Media shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, opportunities, income, or the inability to obtain employment, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount, if any, you have paid us to use JobFolio.
You agree to defend and hold us harmless from claims arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights, including claims related to content you send to employers.
We strive to keep JobFolio reliable but do not guarantee 100% uptime. We may suspend or modify the Service for maintenance, updates, or security, and we may discontinue features with reasonable notice. We are not liable for interruptions beyond our control.
You may stop using JobFolio and deactivate your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if your account remains inactive, or if we decide to discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability — will remain in effect.
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where MYQ Media operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. We will work to resolve disputes informally first.
We may revise these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the "Last updated" date. Material changes may also be communicated through the Service or by email. Your continued use of JobFolio after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
